Installing a "thin client"
Configuring a physical machine as a thin-client on the Colama™ Univ. Edition network involves installing the thin-client software packages on the physical host.
Hardware requirements
PCs with >512MB of RAM and >10GB of hard disk space and a network interface card.
Here are the steps to be followed for the installation.
- Prepare the physical machine for installation.
- Install Colama™ software on the host.
- wget http://colama-server/install.sh
- bash ./install.sh -s colama-server -t.
*Note: "colama-server" is the host name of the machine in which Colama™ server has been installed. Replace it as appropriate for your site.
