Steps to create a new virtual machine (or machines) :
- Identify an existing machine from the library that matches your requirements.
- If found, clone it, else start from a template that fits your requirements and
- install the desired operating system.
- Remember to install guest additions to rename the machine on first start up etc.
- Configure only minimum required IO devices - no usb ports or cdroms required.
- Install necessary software packages.
- Create a snapshot and share it publicly.
